EVM = Electronic Valve Module

You get a little module which is installed in the boot area of your car with remote control.

Your car has the factory exhaust system with valves, which you can turn on and off as you know with the exhaust button. If you have the exhaust on ON in the center console, the valves still don’t open fully when you drive, only when you accelerate hard — e.g. around 3500–4000 RPM.

So when you are cruising, for example, or don’t drive hard, the car is ‘quiet’ as the valves are still closed, although you have the exhaust button on ON.

With the EVM, you overwrite this and open the valves FULLY, meaning valves are always open and you always have the full AMG sound. When you cruise, drive slow, drive hard and even if you turn off the car and restart the next day, valves remain open, until you press nr 2 on the remote control — then it is back to stock operation like you have now.

Very cool and popular product, and if you like the AMG sound, we definitely recommend it with the HHT Power upgrade. It is an awesome package.
